Dolder Grand // Zurich, Switzerland
The Dolder Grand, probably one of our most favourite hotels we have been to, and doesn't she sparkle in the night sky. Built in 1899, with significant renovations including the addition of two new wings in 2008 that were designed by Sir Norman Foster, she is perched above the Swiss city of Zurich. We discovered the Dolder Grand a few years ago while doing our research for an up coming trip with friends. We just had to stay there again. This time I got the tripod out for some nighttime long exposure photographs of the original hotel building from our room. This image is a stack of 4 x 30 second exposures.
