RAAF Hercules on display at Avalon Airshow 2019 // Melbourne, Au

The Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules, or simply Hercules or Herc, has been with the ADF since 1999. It's a medium-sized tactical air-lifter which can deliver cargo to airfields with short unsurfaced runways and airdrop cargo and paratroops by parachute. In this part of the ADF capability demo, a section of airfield defence guards had been dropped with the section commander patrolling via all-terrain vehicle. They protect air power assets from hostile ground action.
