Australian Army Chinook on display at Avalon Airshow 2019 // Mel

The CH-47 Chinook with its famous twin rotors, is the largest and most versatile helicopter in the Australian Army. It's primary tasks include troop movement, artillery emplacement and battlefield resupply. It's made by Boeing and started operational life about the Vietnam war era of the late 1960s.
