The sandy shores of a lake are not the best place to put down roots however that has not stopped this paper bark from thriving in the harsh salty conditions. Taken as the sunset over Wallis Lake, it grows stretching out over Wallis Lake for the setting sun. A blended exposure taken to capture the sunset without losing the deep shadows on the dark side of the tree.
